School Showjumping
On Saturday 30th April our school held an
inter schools showjumping competition at the RDA in
Omagh. Eight schools entered teams.
 
All competitors were very successful. Lucy Smith
competed in the first class of the day and received
first place. Lucy also won the prize for raising the
most sponsorship money for the Riding for the
Disabled.
 
The Novice team consisting of Emma Rankin, Travis
Forsythe and Jill Pinkerton received second place.
Travis was 3rd place as an individual and
Jill was 5th as an individual.
Alice Foster received 1st place in the
intermediate class.
Thanks must go to Mrs Jacqueline Forsythe who
organised the competition, sending out information
to schools, dealing with entries, organising the
trophies and rosettes and obtaining sponsorship from
local businesses so that the maximum amount of money
raised could go to the Riding for the Disabled in
Omagh.
