Charities Report 2010 – 2011
This year a group in the current Year 14 Leisure
Studies class undertook the task of organising a
sponsored walk as part of their A-Level. They
decided that they would complete the sponsored walk
at Gortin Glen and along with the help of Year 10
they raised £2532.00 for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The weather was kind and all agreed it was a
fantastic day. We walked for over 6km and despite
this the group were in good humour and the
atmosphere was pleasant. All pupils behaved
exceptionally well and were a credit to the school.
Hopefully next year it will be even better!!
